Which high school stereotype would you give to each of your muse(s) (name as many as you'd like), and why?

Which of your muses would likely fall in love if met? Which of your muses would likely kill each other if met?

I would suppose maybe Buffy, only because I have two Buffy muses on here, but have also written many other Buffy muses at various points in time and at one point my Lucy was a Buffy OC. I do have a lot of other muses that are canon/come from different fandoms, and I have no problem considering a fandom muse if it speaks to me.

Helen and Tatum are definitely the popular girls. I headcanon that aside from being a pageant queen, Helen was also a cheerleader. Possibly even cheer captain. Mallory, Ruby, Jericho, Rue, Nova, Nancy, Santana, and probably a few that I'm leaving out would've been the goth kids. Drusilla, despite being a Victorian era vampire, would've probably been a theater kid (just look at how she dresses and how dramatic she is). Mindy takes after her uncle to a good degree but is well liked by her peers. Theo would've been somewhere in between an artsy kid and a popular girl, simply because of how she dresses. Marilyn is that one kid that's not the dictionary definition of a popular girl, but is still popular among the student body due to the fact that she is so kind to everyone regardless of what stereotype they belong to and has friends in various different cliques. I know I have a lot of muses I'm not listing here, but that's only because this is what I'm thinking of off the top of my head.

“oh? want me to refresh your memory?”

he thought— he truly thought— that when he woke up this morning he would feel guilty, that he would feel the weight of the world crash down on his shoulders when he remembered what he had done with spencer, with the guy who’d held shawn’s hand through the horrors of growing up when cory was too distracted or too uptight or too ashamed to do it himself. there was some of that, rolled in a tight ball in the pit of his chest. it was buried, though. buried under smugness at spencer’s expense when cory thought of the things he’d done to him, how he’d pulled the thread clean out of his seams, satisfaction, lightness as he looked at the curtainless window and wondered what city shawn was in by now.

he looked back at spencer, both of them still naked as the day they were born and obscured from one another only by thin sheets— and he was smiling. it was easy and painless, that smile, the first of its kind in months. for today— just for today, everything might be a little easier, somehow.

shawn had been counting down the weeks, the days, the minutes to cory and topanga's philly visit for thanksgiving, locked in a frankenstein's horror, thrown in a blender with excitement to see two of his favorite people on the planet since he even had a sense of his own existence in the world, the topsy-turvy always baffling world with its crises and resolutions constantly dragging him there and back again. he was bursting at his seams with joy to see them, topanga glowing with a second trimester and the anticipation of a baby girl and happy, so happy, with so much to talk about, her new job in the big city, cory's new york adventures in teaching middle school. and he dreaded them, both of them, dreaded their plastered smiles, dreaded seeing the results of the choices he'd made and the new life it had made so soon, and wondering if he had been catastrophically wrong, dreaded cory's eyes lingering on him, dreaded letting spencer come along.

and it was nighttime, and the final event was finally due, cory and shawn alone in cory's parents' kitchen just like high school, talking about the things nobody wanted to talk about, the things everyone wished wasn't true, the things that kept shawn up haunted in the night staring at old yearbook pictures on the walls of the apartment.

"so when's the wedding, shawnie?" that was all it took to shatter the illusion, to send them hurtling at full speed down the river of painful honesty and open wounds. here they fucking go.

"that's not fair, cor. you're the one actually married." "you told me to get married!" "i also told topanga i wouldn't blow up her marriage, man. you told her that too, by the way."

he was at a loss. he'd been at a loss for ten years. christ-- did he do the right thing? did he break it worse than it already was? what the fuck did he do now?

"what the fuck do you want me to do, cory?" "do you love him?"

that question sent ice shooting through shawn's veins, the cold sharp sting of humiliation and shame, old as he was and even older still, with a face like chet hunter and alan matthews. he dropped his voice down as quiet as it would go, and he was begging now.

"can we please not do this in your parents' kitchen? please?"

"dude, i don't have any idea, but i'm freaking the fuck out over here."

he wasn't planning on bringing this up to anybody, but it had been a week at this point, and cory was too busy in topangaland lately for shawn not to get a little queasy at the idea of asking him to come babysit just because shawn had had a bad dream.

"it's probably nothing but--could you please come over? or i'll come over there? i-- i'm gonna feel really silly about this in the morning and you can make fun of me as much as you want to. they're really just-- bad dreams but-- dude i don't know i keep waking up with these-- fucking-- claw marks and-- my dad's been gone all week and he hasn't called or anything--and--"

[MOVIE] our muses watch a scary movie/tv show while stoned

“oh CHRIST!”

shawn nearly knocked the ashtray off of the coffee table in reacting to the frankly brutal jumpscare onscreen, an ungraceful and distinctly boyish thrash of too-long limbs. he had thrown himself somewhat into spencer in the process, one arm now haphazardly about him— “FUCK this movie! its all tits and cheap jumpscares!”

he was going to say how much he liked horror movies that were more than those things, that he was not a baby, that he could totally handle it— when he remembered the unlit joint they’d rolled to follow the first, if shawn wasn’t too stoned. he was probably stoned enough, from the look of his red eyes under heavy eyelids and the glow on his cheeks, and from the way he giggled to himself as he plucked the joint off the coffee table, “got a lighter, man? this stuff is nice. movie sucks. im not scared. it just sucks. where’s the lighter?” do you want to make out? had he said that last part out loud?

Marilyn and @lettherebemonsters's Corey Cunningham is everything to me. I love them so much. It just happened outta nowhere, and was unexpected, but it's so perfect. Marilyn is just so full of love and acceptance for Corey, as well as the rest of the Myers family, and it's just beautiful.
