If only the whole world could be operated by the decent people. I’m an idealist. It’s true.
i gots me two sides same as you
Starting my Arabic homework, and I’m reflecting on how much the first words a person learns in a new language might tell you about them. For instance, I myself know how to say ‘library’ ‘pen’ and ‘car’. (I accidentally called myself a pen that I left in the car TODAY, IN CLASS. My prof was confused, to say the least).Â
Yet I still struggle with the basics. Like ‘question’. And ‘bathroom’. Nothing like resorting to some sign language in class when we’re not allowed to speak English. :) Guess I know where my priorities are, huh?Â
I really love that people are asking me questions about the deaf awareness post. It makes it feel like im making a difference
