first 15 minutes were a nightmare of unfunny stupidity without context that would make that kind of humor actually funny, but the part where hes making his outfit and killing the underlings? i would watch that a hundred times over. SUPER funny.

most impressive part was the fact that they ended up ACTUALLY MAKING THE CONSISTENT FOURTH WALL BREAKS WORK. very impressed with that, i was completely ready to watch a movie while wincing in second hand embarrassment for over an hour nonstop.

the villain was AWFUL stupid, and it would have worked better if they had made deadpool make a bigger deal about what a trope loser this guy was, with a BRITISH ACCENT AND EVERYTHING, but they didnt so that was also just a complete fuck up on that front. like it was a stupid villain framed seriously so like, even though with logically, since the deadpool thing is "make fun of the superhero franchise", the fact that the villain was like this HAD to be on purpose, but it didnt feel like it. it felt like we were supposed to shake in our boots at this guy whos only superpower is "not feeling pain", which isnt a superpower, its something that will cause you to die very easily and will just in general cause an enormous amount of medical complications and be unfun.no one cares about what i have to say about not feeling pain but he seriously.... ok whatever. in conclusion i like deadpool now enough to see the sequel, which i heard is better, whicch i am in fact seeing tomorrow. this is my review.
