Maybe it was the gloomy weather or maybe it was the reprimanding her manager gave her when he phoned her but whatever it was, she wasn’t happy. It was perhaps the first day in a long time Krystal had gotten to herself—away from constant conditioning and training, away from cooking and cleaning, and the first day away from her son since he’d been born. She had been enjoying her afternoon sitting silently and peacefully on a park bench until she got a call from her manager asking what she was doing. When she replied with a simple ‘nothing’, he started scolding her, telling her that she didn’t have time to be doing nothing. That she needed to do her job, that she needed to work out, that she need to be a mother. Her lip curled up slightly in a small scowl. She had hung up on him without a word. She didn’t need to do anything. She needed a break. The raven-haired female stood from the park bench and started off just as her manager called again. Her bangs tousled against her annoyed looking face when a gust of wind blew by. And before she could pick up her phone agaib, she bumped into a sturdy figure. Krystal blinked at the man standing before her. Normally, one would bow in apology but Krystal wasn’t exactly the nicest or normal. She just stared at him silently then dipped her head after a moment. “Sorry,” she mumbled, as courteously as she was capable when agitated, as her phone went off again and the woman brushed past him to be on her way.
