So her name Kekipi (Keki for short) came about cuz when I first made her, she was originally Hawaiian and Navajo (oh yes, 13 old me thought it was sooooo cool womp we don’t talk about that) and Kekipi is a Hawaiian originated name so yknow it fit at the time.
After I left dA I came to tumblr and from 16-20 I’ve had like, 2-3 different blogs (would loose interest cuz of school up my a s s) and this has been my newest and longest running blog of 2 years this year actually! (Started this blog at 20, turning 22 this year yeet)
When I reworked her story, I was thinking about renaming her so it would fit more but I got to thinking and she’s had this name since I was 13 and it wouldn’t feel like the same character. Like I was thinking of naming her Charlotte and her nickname would be Charlie or something but the meaning of Kekipi is “rebel” and she really fits that for so many years cuz cmon she is this bratty and headstrong wolf who doesn’t backdown for anything

Then Kraglin began speaking, “What’s wrong, Krag? Tell me--” He had to save Quill. Her brows furrowed, pupils becoming small as she shook her head. “Wh.. What do you mean he had to save....?” Oh no. “Kraglin don’t you fucking tell me he’s....” she ran her hands over her face before they covered her mouth, tears starting to well into her eyes. He couldn’t be gone. This had to be some cruel joke, one of those fucking nightmares.
