His reaction is delayed but there is a quiet Ah before suddenly both arms fly up in alarm. Once he’s picked up and his companion speaks, he settles down and chuckles.

Curiously, Genji watches as his friend reaches up to place flowers in his dark hair. With each one that falls out, a new one takes its place and he can’t help but smile. He’d been sitting outside pondering the last mission when Jesse arrived, not expecting to be showered in flowers and kindness. It was a nice change of pace considering this time he wasn’t confined to the medical wing immediately upon returning back to base.
