It’s been a couple days since the prom and their night spend together. Penny was busy in his studies as guardian and barely had time to see Ellie. Today would be different though, at least that was the plan of the teenager. Finishing all his duties back home and after meditating, Penny sprung up and grabbed his phone, dialing Ellie’s number to tell her that he was ready.

After a short call, the boy shouted something akin to bye to Maturin who just returned from his library with a coffee in one hand and a heavy looking book in the other. The older entity raised a brow as he saw the faint shimmer of his nephews shadow vanishing outside the door of their house. “Hey, at least close the door when going outside!” Maturin shouted, furrowing his brows while closing the entrance with his magic.

Penny grabbed his skateboard and started to cruise down the street in direction of Ellie´s house. They wanted to go visit the Derry Canal Days and after that maybe going to a nice cafe. While on his way, Penny decided to change his outfit a little, closing his eyes. In a couple minutes thanks to his transformation powers he wore his favorite outfit without any hassle. Smiling at that, the youth grinned and jumped off the skateboard as soon he saw Ellie’s house come in focus. Walking over to the house, he rang the bell of it, waiting eagerly outside. One last checkup what his look belongs and his face returned to the door which just had opened, showing a happy looking Ellie.

“Sorry i hope i am still on time” he rubbed his head nervously, looking at his girlfriend apologetic before leaning over, giving her a kiss on her lips.

Pennywise was watching IT’s offspring and his little girlfriend very closely, make no mistake. Papa was still irritated and angry about Junior’s betrayal 27 years ago, still had a grudge against him. The problem was, that due to Maturin’s teachings and gadgets, Junior was stronger by now than his sire so Papa had to step away from hurting the kid himself, IT rather went for the girlfriend of Penny, Ellie. That silly little girl that had turned IT’s offsprings brain completely.

IT waited until she was alone at home, IT knew Ellie had no idea who IT was, most likely. Only heard about from Penny himself, but IT’s looks were probably a mystery for the girl. Watching her a little longer, Papa decided to finally go inside, but not before putting up a masquerade, IT changed into its own offspring, knowing how traumatizing it would be for the girl to get hurt from her own boyfriend. Papa chuckled to ITself before ringing the door bell with an excited grin on IT’s face. Ohh tonight would be a fun night for sure.

As the door opened, Papa went into it’s best impression of its offspring and gave Ellie a gentle smile.

“We can’t risk that, now can we?” he replied, engulfing Ellie in his own arms, pulling her over to himself, pressing her against his chest, nuzzling her forehead gently.

“What happened baby?”

Penny was keen on finding his token needed for the ritual, he was sure it would be in close proximity, he literally could feel it. The young deadlight quickly changed into his human form right after exiting the chinese restaurant he and the other losers had met, white makeup was replaced by a healthy fair skin color and smoother facial features. His former clown outfit turned into a tight fitting muscle shirt with a spider on it and instead of puffy pants, skinny jeans started to appear, accentuating Junior’s lanky build. Fine toned arms showed up with dark colored wristbands. This was his new favorite outfit and Gan knows he would wear it till there was no tomorrow. Back with Maturin he couldn’t wear this as it was not really practical in Mid-World, so he enjoyed it being back on Earth with the freedom to wear whatever he liked again.

After he was finished with changing, he looked at himself in a display window, admiring his looks. Yes, no trace of him being an evil space entity anymore. Well he wasn’t evil at all but still alien in this human world. While wondering where to start first, he saw that the canal days had started in Derry again, like every year. Being on Earth for the first time in ages, Junior was conflicted. He wanted, no better said, needed to find the token, yet his need to explore was high as well. It was already hard work to convince Maturin to let him roam all by himself, how would he react if he finds out Penny would make a detour for a silly festival? From afar he could hear the cheers and the smell of popcorn made. Right, the carneval was close as well, inviting him with pleasures he had missed so much in all these years. Given he only got them through his father back then and only if he was really good, but now that he was sort of freeish from his father’s grasp, he could get treats for himself.

“Mhhh a little detour won’t hurt, it will not take long anyway”the Teenager muttered, still conflicted but eager to go in a different direction for now. He used his powers to make a skateboard appear and got on it with ease, skating in direction of the Derry Carnival, grinning to himself.
