My main OC in Skyrim! The daughter of a Farmer and Ulfric Stormcloak's disowned twin sister, Runa was one of two survivors of a Thalmor attack on her home. The Dominion did not like how her father- Ulfrics brother-in-law and close friend- acted as a moderate voice, thawing and easing the Jarl's trauma-fueled xenophobia. He was only an asset to them if he was as radicalized and controversial as possible. So, the Thalmor attacked Deadcrow's Landing, the clan's humble manor, killing her father, her brother, her betrothed, and anyone left in the family's employ, then torched the place. All of this perfectly in the path of Ulfric and his band of soldiers to come upon, staged to look like an Imperial attack- kill the moderate, further radicalize the asset, two stones with one bird.

They didn't expect survivors.

Instead of stumbling on the Landing, Ulfric stumbled upon his niece. Then outside of Darkwater crossing, they stumbled into a trap.

And thus, skyrim begins.
