to become happy {takane!!}
There are a few thoughts running through Haruka's mind as the situation makes itself clear to him. Of course he's a bit curious about what his... his wife--he's still not used to saying it yet--thinks about, what she's been through, but the stupidly modest side of him protests. It isn't right to invade on others privacy after all. If Takane has anything she wants him to know, he has confidence that she'd tell him, which means there's really no need for snooping!
Except perhaps even greater than his sense of integrity is his sense of fear. Memories can't lie, not like words and smiles can, and a part of him is scared. Scared to see how Takane really feels, how she really sees him--how she has seen him for the past three years. Is he a nuisance to her? Is she tired of having to watch over him? Is he a burden? It's even a little selfish of him to think he occupies any space in her mind at all, there are just so many possibilities.
Yet once he experiences the real thing, once he knows what Takane's true feelings turn out to be, Haruka almost can't bring himself to believe it. He'd been under the impression that such happy coincidences were reserved for fiction only, and a lucky select few, but to think that all these years, his slowly budding feelings were being requited on the other side as well...!
"T-Takane!" Excitedly rushing to find his wife--he's a bit more confident in calling her that, to his thrill--it all seems unreal. He has to confirm it's the truth by consulting the source, and... well now that he knows it shouldn't be too much of a problem for her to say so out loud, right...? He'd really like to hear Takane tell him herself, actually...
"Is it true? Have you really liked me all this time?!"
