Worked with the gel plate things for the first time today, tried to make Dead London and honestly pleasantly surprised with my first go at both this and Posca markers.

There seems to be a correlation between the number of @johannesviii illustrations for a story and how much I will like this story. Correlation is not a strict law, of course (note the absence of Terror Firma in the previous part of the list; on the other hand, @johannesviii did draw C'rizz tearing a dalek apart ^^), but if for some reason I need to decide if I am going to listen to a particular episode, the very existence of Johannes' illustration is a 'pro' factor. What was interesting about "Lucie's era" is that it was not really Lucie's era - a refreshing divergence from the standard Doctor + companion scheme. And let's not forget that the Doctor spent most of the time within that period without any humans, on Orbis.
