I've given up quite a fair few of 'competitive' mobile games. 'Fire Age', 'Ingress', 'Dead Evil' - all because other people make the experience of playing said game unpleasant. It's not enough just to play and be a gracious opponent. No, other players turn into vicious bullies stomping on the competition face up so they can watch the light leave their eyes. I mean, Ingress has players who are very territorial and get way too serious about a game that is supposed to be a 'friendly competition'. Humans are starting to show quite a vile side of themselves in this digital age.
