El pasado Jueves tuvimos la oportunidad de verlos durante su presentación en El Imperial de la CDMX y fue una experiencia muy agradable. 

El show inició con la participación de PASSEIG, un grupo que debo ser honesto, no me gustó, su música es monótona y la voz desafinaba todo el tiempo, además el set fue demasiado largo, lo único que se podría rescatar fue que recordaron a Leonard Cohen con un pequeño cover semi-acústico; cuando estaba a punto de salir un rato del foro terminaron de tocar.

De Mónaco es un proyecto muy interesante, la base de sus canciones se compone de sonidos secuenciados, beats de batería electrónica, discretos riffs de guitarra y letras filosóficas que salen de la melódica voz de Carlos Contreras, cantante del grupo. Durante casi una hora el conjunto chileno mostró su talento haciendo bailar a todas las personas que estaban en este increíble venue; era evidente que muy pocos los conocían pero fueron bien recibidos y se dejaron una excelente impresión. Una de las canciones que más me gustaron fue ‘Sideral’, primer sencillo que dieron a conocer de ‘ El Siglo de las Luces’, su primer álbum.
