All about this re-issue, commemorating one of the very first LED Bulova/Hamilton Computron offerings during the Quartz Crisis. At the time, American companies doubled downed on their LED tech, while Seiko invested time and research into developing LCD tech instead - which turned out to be the winning bet. This new fangled LED tech was expensive then, in the late 1970s, and expensive now (at $750), so I think I'll stick with my OG vintage one - these can still be found if you're diligent (or know someone that sources watches 😎) A super impractical watch - you have to press the button on the right of the case to get the time, meaning both hands should be free to read the time.
