Dicemasters. I ended up playing this because of a slight confusion between âDicemastersâ (the current Quarriors-descended game pictured) and âDicemasterâ (a classic game from Iron Crown and Kris Burm, published in the late 90s). Anyway, I had kind of lost track of Quarriors after we finished with it, but it turns out itâs alive and well and cranking out lots of product in the DC and Marvel universes. We enjoyed Quarriors a ton for quite a while, before just a bunch of balance issues caught up with it, along with the development teamâs inability to release sets of consistent quality. It was actually fun to revisit, but itâs not going to make it back into regular rotation đ. I actually sold off all my actual Dicemaster dice just a couple months ago, after facing the reality that I hadnât played in over 20 years and it may not, in fact, have been all that great.
