Last night, I had the opportunity to sit and listen to @mayor_bowser #dcculturalplan at @anacostiaphouse I'm very excited about the mayor’s vision in how the city/government and other stakeholders will support and foster cultural experiences for everyone here in DC; including artists, the preservation of art spaces, and ensuring residents/visitors have accessibility to partake in these experiences. Also had an opportunity to catch up with Angie Gates, Director of @entertain_dc and inquire about her divison’s role in aligning their work, along with other DC agencies, in affirming DC’s culture and history.
