#dc pluto

Got my MSC so I’m back to bodyblushing Pluto. Just have the tail and the legs left, then she’ll be ready to get her head back when I finish the wig.

So, had to take a break on her body blushing, the last two pieces I did ate the last of my MSC (sadness), and I have to wait till my next paycheck to order more. Luckily (?), I’m making her a vented wig. So that’s gonna take me forever and should keep me plenty occupied.

Also here’s a picture of the two pieces that ate the last of my MSC. Man it takes a lot of layers to get this dark of a color. I’m 100% expecting the rest of her body blushing to eat the new can.

More progress, but so so much left to do

Finally got around to doing Pluto’s faceup. It’s not finished yet, still have to add a couple more details, crystals above her eyebrows, gloss, eyelashes, and such, but looking for advice on it from BJD people.

Originally I was going to do a crescent moon on her head similar to that of the factory faceup, but then I found this crystal in with my doll stuff and I really really like it. The only problem is it’s not a flat crystal, so to put it on her I need to either sculpt a base for it (and blend the sculpting into her head), or dremel a place for it into her head and set it in. If I go completely mental at a later date and decide to sell her, I know a hole in her head will depreciate her value... but I’m also thinking of dying her tail and legs, which would probably do the same. So not sure whether I should do the crystal or the moon.

I already have a couple ideas on what I want to do blushing wise but I can’t wait to work on her!

My fiancé is less impressed 😂
