Your foot tapped rapidly against the hard wood floor, your eyes glaring at the ticking clock. Soon, your foot was tapping to the beat of the tick. Many thoughts were running through your mind the longer he was away.
Your boyfriend Trunks was out fighting against those damn androids and here you were, stuck at home doing nothing and praying that he comes back to you in one piece.Â
After all the destruction they caused, those two androids are capable of anything. Of course you had faith in Trunks. He’s the strongest person you knew. Heaving a sigh, you finally had enough of just waiting around and decided to take action. You knew Trunks worried about you and your safety, but you were a big girl and you could take care of yourself; he taught you a few things too.
It wasn’t like you were going to jump into the fight, you just wanted to make sure Trunks was alright. As long as you stayed hidden, you should be okay.Â
Getting up from the table, you made your way toward the door and outside, the sun shining bright as if the city wasn’t in an apocalyptic wasteland. One of the things he taught you was to fly which was amazing! Being a plus size girl, everyone told you that doing a lot of things wouldn’t be possible for you, but now here you are, flying in the air as you started searching for your boyfriend’s Ki.
Getting a hit, you flew over to the other side of the city. Slowing down, you heard the clashing sounds from what you thought was a fight made you touch down on the ground and continue on foot.
“Is that all you got lavender head?” A feminine voice erupted the silent air as you made yourself hidden behind a large boulder that was crashed into the road. Peeking around the corner, you saw the two androids and your powered up boyfriend. The blond haired woman who spoke before shot off ki blasts from her hands, missing Trunks as he just swatted them away.
“This is for Gohan!” With that said, Trunks teleported behind the woman android and blasted her from behind leaving nothing but a cloud of smoke. There was nothing left of her. A smile stretched on your face as a weight felt like it was off your shoulders.Â
“Think you’re big and bad now, huh?” The male android glared at Trunks as he floated down from the sky.Â
“You’re next.” Was all that he said. The black haired android only laughed and pointed to the boulder you were hiding behind. There’s no fucking way. You swore you hid your ki before hiding. He didn’t say anything else as he blasted a shot of energy at the boulder, your scream echoed through the quiet city as you closed your eyes and dove to the side hoping it would lessen what would happen.
It was all a blur as the explosion happened, rock and debris flying everywhere and your large body was thrown like it was nothing. You could hear Trunks’ distressed sounds of anguish as your body hit the pavement and skidded along it before coming to a stop. Everything hurt, your body was sore and you felt dead.
“(Y/N)! You’re dead android, dead!” Sounds of blasts and Trunks’ screams were the last thing you heard before all you saw was black.

You felt warm, so warm. You groaned lightly as you tried to turn your body, but it hurt too much to even do that.
“(Y/N)? Oh thank Kami you’re awake.” Your eyes fluttered open, the soreness spreading all across your body.Trunks came into your view, his face filled with worry and some tears even escaped his eyes. His hands cupped your round cheeks and pressed a kiss to your forehead.
“What were you thinking? Coming to the fight and then..that damn android almost killed you... I need you (Y/N).” You reached our and wiped the tears that were falling from his eyes.
“I just wanted to come and make sure you were okay...is the android gone?” Trunks nodded, answering your question as a smile spread across your face.
“He’s gone, they’re gone...we can finally move on. We can finally start a family like we’ve wanted.”
You felt tears well up in your eyes as you nodded. Now that the androids were gone, Trunks and yourself can finally move on with your lives. it finally felt like everything was beginning to feel whole again and a feeling of normalcy was starting to come to not only the city, but your lives too.
