Tbh not to be a hater or anything but as much as I do fw the broly/cheelai ship in the fandom I’d kinda rather it not be canon and had no expectation for it to be so. I mean homeboy is just meeting people and it seems kinda lame to just smush him with the first female-presenting person he’s met just because he’s nice to her and she’s kind to him??? Like the friendship trio is top tier and two people don’t need to be lovers just because they care about each other and they’re hot y’all need to chill, let Broly manage to get socialized better at least 💀. Like he was ready to throw hands with that frieza force soldier because he could tell she was being harassed not because he was jealous pls he’s busy fighting Demons bro let him have at least ONE therapy session before wanting him to be in a canon relationship 😭 he barely forms full SENTENCES like y’all didn’t really think he was even in the realm of romantic notions?? Like I said I like the ship idea, but in terms of actual story, it’s a bit shallow and poorly timed to actually expect anything right now if they’re going to make it canon (like at LEAST friends to lovers arc).
