anyway ive said this before but i have three motivations for writing this fic, and they are exactly as follows:
self projection
gay shit (related to previous motivation)
to write these two very specific exchanges:
parm wondering whether he has to yell “RELEASE THE POWER” before he puts on the power booster amulet
moordryd very reluctantly approaching artha and asking, entirely hypothetically of course, how one would go about realising they have romantic feelings for their best friend
this chapter has all sorts of fun stuff in it, including but not limited to:
actual plot!
cain being a delightful human being
artha being unreasonably frightened of seleb.... again......
kitt being a Badass Gay
did i mention actual plot

me while writing literally any dialogue involving parm: hmm okay what things does shena do and say
im also fuming bc my past self was a HACK and their notes are GARBAGE. “second fortnight: cain, artha interferes, moordryd’s realisation” what does that MEAN!! i remember vague plot points i was using so like....
EITHER cain tries to get information abt the dragon booster out of kitt and parm, artha makes up some bullshit to throw him off the scent, and while eavesdropping moordryd realises that artha could actually help him,
OR cain gets into a fight w some other students, artha helps him out until moordryd arrives, and then moordryd realises he’s in love with cain
both of these seem like valid plot pieces? vote on your phones now
