Continuation of day 2
It had been a day since Markus had noticed the odd password change by another user. Heâd been busy with meetings since then, but the issue had lingered at the back of his mind.
EK100.
What - or who - could that be? Markus didnât have time to investigate, although he knew that whatever he had found yesterday was odd. And potentially very dangerous.

Part 1 / Part 2 / Part 3
Connor stared at his reflection, his hair was a mess and his face looked drained of life. The past weeks have been a nightmare for him. He had been going in and out of stasis. Reliving every single agonizing memory he lost.
âHey kid, youâve been staring at yourself for 10 minutes. Do you want some thirium ? I can get you some.â Hank commented, looking at Connor from the doorway. He's been checking up on Connor from time to time despite having work to do. Hank had spoken with Fowler about Connorâs current condition and was able to excuse him from working.
âOhâŚI am alright lieutenant. Just feeling more tired. My processor has been overworking itself to retrieve my memories.â Connor gave Hank a weak smile. He hasn't told Hank that even though some memories are coming back, some have also been deleting itself. It feels like a loop of losing and retrieving himself.
âAre you sure kid ? You have been starting to forget again. Like you forgot Sumoâs name a few days ago and shit, even the date.â Hank approached Connor putting a hand on the androidâs shoulder.
âLieutenantâŚ.I am fine, I still remember basic information that is essential. Like my name, model number, where I am living and all that other stuff.â Connor insisted as he turned to look at Hank. He can see the information on Hank pop up again as if they met for the first time again.
âKid, talking to Markus about the incident is probably the best choice at the moment. You could forget about it at any second or even shit right now.â Hank suggested.
What had happened at Jericho was still a mystery to Connor but what happened in his mind stayed with him. Amandaâs cold stare, him slowly losing controlâŚ.the wind blowing around him. The traumatic feeling came back to him again as if a wave took him from shore, swooping him farther and farther away. Errors came flooding in, the red blurring his vision. He can feel an invisible weight making him drop into the ground. Shouts were slowly fading into silence;
Connor opened his eyes to see nothing. Looking around made him realize that he was standing on a platform, it looked like it was made of a glossy plastic. It was the only thing he could see, around him was just a void. The android's LED spun yellow with an amber flickering from time to time.Softly, a high pitched noise began to engulf the empty space surrounding him; Slowly, blaring, booming the noise was becoming unbearable. Connor fell on his knees, with covered ears hoping that this deafening noise would soon fade away, but to his dismay the sound became more ear-piercing. Then he screamed, his voice matched the noise. His scream was agonizing, he had put all his suffering into it, what all he had been through for weeks were all put into that one scream. It seemed that it was hours until his voice became high pitched glitching noises. Then silence again. Connor felt himself slipping into stasis again.
Connorâs eyes opened and he quickly got up. He gasped for air and felt something was wrong. Everyone around him was shocked to see him awake. He looked around to see that Hank brought him to Jericho, he was on a surgery bed. Parts of his synthetic skin were pulled back. He could see his own thirium pump racing through the white skin. His LED whirring red and yellow. He noticed that it was night. âHow much time has passed since he was in that void ?â Connor asked himself, he was lost though.
âConnor...Itâs ok, no need to panic. Hank brought you here since you suddenly collapsed. I was just checking if any of your biocomponents are damaged. We have already checked your processors.â Simon spoked in a comforting tone. His hand was setting down a surgery scalpel. He glanced at two other androids who were in the room. The two androids put down the equipment and quietly left the two androids alone. The PL android approached him slowly, making sure he didn't scare the RK.
âSimon..How long have I been out ? I remember the sky was blue but now it's just a void.â Connor glanced out the window then at Simon. His voice expressed his worry. The chocolate brown eyes stared at the sky blue eyes. His breathing has become more shaky.
âYou have been here for one day. Nothing to worry about. Your clothes are on the table over there. I will inform Markus that you are awake now.â Simon answered with a comforting smile. He helped Connor remove the wires attached to him. The Rkâs LED was still spinning red. Simon can see the fear and panic in those brown eyes. It was similar to the fear of a child who had woken up from a nightmare. His programming tells him that he needs to comfort the more advanced android. He looked at Connor again before leaving to find Markus.
Connor watched as the blonde android left the room. He headed to where his clothes were placed. He slowly put on his clothes. As he grabbed his shirt, a metal cling echoed through the empty room. He looked down to the direction the metal cling went from, it was his coin. After putting on his shirt, he bent down to grab the coin. It wasnât really special, there was more like this one.
âConnor ?â Markus entered the room, closing the door behind him. Simon came running into the meeting room,he was exclaiming that Connor had woken up. He calmly approached Connor until he was three inches away.
Connorâs train of thought stopped when he heard Markusâ voice. He turned to see him. The brown chocolate eyes staring at the mismatched pair of eyes. The soft ticking of the clock echoed through the silent room as the two RKs just stared at each other, trying to process what to say.
âSimon told me you woke up. Connor...We need to talk about what is happening to you.â Markus finally broke the silence.
