🎉 woot woot! i did it! i finished the 2025 book bingo! the last 2 squares are done, making 4 bingos and a blackout! i marked them in gold because it’s the holidays! i can't believe i pulled it off right at the end of the year! woot woot! 🥳

read a zine & make a zine: so i follow this artist on YouTube, brattyxbre, who loves zines, and read her free zines on her zine archive, love them and love her! 😍

as for make a zine, i started a mini zine back in FEBRUARY and didn't finish it until recently, it's actually double sided, w/ one sided titled "how to say i love you in flower" and the other "how to say fuck you in flower", with public domain vintage botanical drawings of flowers and their meaning in victorian flower language 💐

i made it all in my 20+ yr old version of photoshop 5.5 and finally printed it out and folded it, unfortunately i don't have a color printer, so it's in black and white and doesn't look great, but it's DONE SON! 👍

indie pub or self pub: On Thin Ice by Nelly Blythe, Nelly Blythe plugged her self published debut novel on a goodreads group discussion board post that we're both members of, and i thought "college hockey romance, debut author, i'll give it a try", it was light angst, slow burn, no spice, solid ⭐️⭐️⭐️

book about music: Fahrenheit-182: A Memoir by Mark Hoppus, i love blink and mark has always been my bias, ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

not orig. published in English: Boulder by Eva Baltasar, a youtuber recommendation that's been on my tbr for a while, it made me wonder, why people settle, why they stay, because boulder should have left long before she finally did, and i get it, but still... sigh ⭐️⭐️⭐️.25

science fiction: Fugitive Telemetry by Martha Wells, i love the murderbot diaries again, ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

manga, comic or graphic novel: the Way of the Househusband, Vol 15. by Kousuke Oono, the combination of yakuza and homemaking cultures is just so much fun, love this series, ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

romance novel: Three Nights with a Scoundrel by Tessa Dare, finally finished the last book of the Stud Club series, they're all interconnected stand-alones, so i really didn't need to remember the other 2 books, but the murder mystery that's teased throughout the series does finally get solved, ⭐️⭐️⭐️.25

writer bio or memoir: House of Dreams: the Life of L.M. Montgomery by Liz Rosenberg, i only knew she was a pastor's wife who wrote books, i did not know she was practically orphaned young and had been writing most of her life, a very good read, ⭐️⭐️⭐️.5
