Oikawa
If it was any other person wanting a fist fight, he’d at least try to “mean girl” his way out of it, but you are right next to him, tears staining your cheeks from the words your ex said, tugging on his arm saying ‘don’t fight, toru’ and ‘he’s not worth it’. And in front of him was your ex! The asshole that just made you cry which is why he came over in the first place! No, he won’t let him get away with that.
He’d start off by saying with mischievous eyes, “Do me a favor? Not the face, yeah? I gotta be able to kiss my little cutie after I beat your ass.” He sends a wink to you, you sniffle but back away.
You knew he’d win, his powerful serves gives him plenty of practice. You’re just afraid of your ex hitting him. While Oikawa can handle a few punches (being used to Iwa’s abuse) if he gets anything worse, he won’t be able to play volleyball.
Let’s hope he wins without a broken bone...
Sugawara
Suga has no problem defending your honor. He will definitely try to deescalate the situation and try to talk it out, but the second your ex calls you something degrading, he’s throwing the first punch. If he’s smart in the moment, he’ll grab your arm and run. But if what your ex said was really terrible and got Suga really angry? He won’t run away, he’ll stand his ground. Unfortunately, that first punch would also have been his last because he’s probably going to be beaten up. You’ll have a very cute romantic moment though when you’re icing his wounds <3
Bokuto
The second Bokuto sees your ex coming towards you, he’s standing right behind you, growling lowly in your ear. He’s not doing it on purpose, pure instinct, he’s pretty much your guard dog.
He’ll let you to talk as long as you’re comfortable, but when the conversation turns saying how low of downgrade Bokuto is, and that you’re “letting yourself go” or something, Bokuto gently pushes you behind him.
His arms crossed, steel eyes, your ex is intimidated already. If he’s smart he’ll walk away, but if he’s not, Bokuto will surely put him in place. He doesn’t even need to throw a punch, he just pushes him back with one hand. The amount of pure force, knocks your ex down. Knowing he couldn’t win the fight, he scurries off and Bokuto is back at your side telling you how much he loves you.
