Christmas, Jingles and Automobiles

There is nothing more insidious than Christmas music. It ends up in your mind without the slightest indication from whence it came.
In this pantheon of annoying tunes, there is none more hideous than the Lexus Christmas commercial jingle music. I just caught myself humming it, somehow managing to channel my Mother channeling my Grand Mother in some weird, intra-generational personality quirk assumption.
But then this leads me to the ultimate question: how many people have actually given or received a brand new automobile as a Christmas present? I don't mean getting "permission" from someone to purchase a vehicle that otherwise may not have been authorized. I mean actually getting an entire vehicle as a gift.
This seems to be one of the great American myths, along with Paul Bunyon and a spotless human rights record, in this case being perpetuated by a Japanese car manufacturer.

#365happydays #day056 Nell'incontro di formazione dell'altra sera si doveva disegnare la propria "bussola"... Quella della foto è la mia. So che magari può essere anche non semplice, ma su in alto c'è Dio (quello in cui credo e che molte volte sento vicino in parecchi momenti della mia Vita). Su un altro punto c'è la Fede (quella che mi porta a fare delle scelte che possono anche risultare impegnative). Si due lati ci sono gli Angeli (quelli che ci proteggono e noi che proteggiamo chi vogliamo bene). Non meno importanti sono gli altri punti: Amici, divertimento, esperienze e incontri (tutte cose nelle quali io credo). E in mezzo a tutto questo c'è il SORRISO (che è molto importante!!!). Poi capita anche che la bussola giri e rigiri, ma sono tutte belle! (presso Brescia)
