Day 15 - Boston
Only about 4 hours away from Boston, today is going to be relaxing. Got up around 8 for the breakfast at the motel. Feeling lazy, we went back to bed. Kuntal had a pretty good second nap. Looks like she was tired. Glad we did a late checkout and so she could relax. We finally started at around noon. From there it was I-90 all the way. Initially I was loving the roads. Greenery all around and somewhat mountain roads. Traffic wasn't too bad and weather was actually good. Cloudy but good. Toll roads all the way. As we crossed Albany and moved further east, the traffic started to increase. One thing I did notice was that east coast car drivers have no respect for motorcyclists. When giving the turn signal, you would expect the car behind you in the others lane to give you some space. But no. They don't care. I had to literally give hand signal, wave like a crazy maniac, to change lanes sometimes. And then the guy in the car would give you a look, as if something weird just happened. What retards! No wonder there are so few motorcycles on the road here. As we crossed into Massachusetts, the real traffic showed up. Not sure if it was the Friday night going away for the weekend kinda traffic, or just the norm. Too many cars. I was imagining the Chicago traffic, only with too many cars instead of trucks. We were in stop and go traffic for a bunch of times. It wasn't fun riding anymore. We took decent enough breaks at the gas stations and rest stops, but ended up reaching Norwood, MA by 6:30 pm. We hardly rode for a few hours, but it was totally exhausting. We pretty much decided not to take freeways anymore. Traffic woes aside, we finally reached at our friend's place. Meeting Sandeep after almost 4 years, and Deepti even more. Kuntal was meeting Her for the first time. Super excited to meet Vivaan and his Spider-Man goodies! We had such an amazing time catching up. Old college fun times. Kuntal was having fun hearing so much about our college days, all the friends and the memories. We were dearly remembering Longia and Champa. We didn't realize that we were up until 3 in the morning. Vivaan and his wheels of the bus is still ringing in my ears 😊 Fun times! So glad to have done this. It's July 17th. What tomorrow?
Say It
Untuk engkau yang masih malu-malu
Katakan saja.
Kau jawabannya.
 Sudah ku katakan, katakan saja.
