If you are happy and have nothing to vent or rant about life then what the hell are you doing here?

It's been one year since we gained you as an angel who guides us with this life we live. We breathe, we eat, and we go about our day. There hasn't been a day that I don't thank you for everything you have made possible for me to smile, laugh and enjoy life, even if it doesn't involve you in it anymore.

You brought people into my life who understands, loves and you helped me pursue what I always wanted. I hope you are proud of me, with the growth I have had to do in the last year. Yes, you were taken so soon, so young, but sometimes I'd rather think you'd be better off without any pain or sorrow in your last dwelling days but it was a peaceful one.

I hope you are looking out for us as always. You'll always be a part of me, you taught me to stand on my own two feet, know when to say " no" and knowing that you are right there with me guiding me, it's a miracle and a blessing in disguise.

It hit me, it was your first year gone and I didn't feel sad or angry but grateful for everything you meant to me, and you gave me a reason to keep going and chasing my dream. You always wanted to see me happy, and you've made so many ways, countless ways to lead me to the people who make the happiest. So I thank you, mahal.

Thank you so much for everything you have done. You will always, always be a part of me.
