Dawn protecting feral Zeke! (The Rats proceed to kill him anyway)

She's my favourite contestant from the second generation of Total Drama (more specifically from Total Drama: Revenge of the Island)!

Even though she only appeared in six episodes throughout the entire show, she is popular in the fandom. She's kind and has special connection with nature and animals (she said she wanted to win the money to help Mother Earth). She even has a few supernatural powers: she can teleport, communicate with animals, see people's auras, and predict the future.

Nevertheless, Dawn isn't as pure as she seems at first glance, like for example, she is more concerned about animal's welfare than about people's, and reading people's minds/auras is definitely an invasion of privacy. Plus, I kinda like the headcanon that Dawn might be able to see the dead people to make it more interesting.

Anyways, I ship Dawn with Zeke, despite the fact that, unfortunately, they never interacted on the show, but I can imagine that she's the only person who would understand Zeke when he was feral and would help him to recover and regain his humanity.

Maybe she could get along with the regular Zeke, since they're both outcasts and love animals, but honestly, I don't know if canon Zeke would even have a crush on her, since he canonically had a crush on Bridgette and later on Anne Maria (who's also from second generation).

On the other hand, my/Crossverse Zeke would find Dawn lovely and be attracted to her unusual quirks, since he grew up in the TaE Family (family full of outcasts and weirdos /affectionately).

Dawn grew up in a village called Piayiia and has Night Elf ancestry (which is why she has pointy ears). In fact, her 3-times-great-grandmother is a Night Elf monk who is still alive and taught her these powers. Dawn is an outcast, since she is part-elf and most people are creeped out her powers. Dawn found companionship mainly among animals, and for that reason she isn't worried about people's well-being.

When Dawn was 15 years old, her parents signed her up for a two-month summer camp near Oakheart City, hoping she would meet some friends. There she met Zeke and his friends for the first time.

Once she told them she had supernatural powers, the others were confused or horrified, but Zeke instantly liked her and wanted to get to know her better. Thanks to his aura, Dawn already knew he had a crush on her, but she also enjoyed getting to know him, since Zeke was never intimidated by her powers and later taught her that people are part of nature, too.

It's unclear whether Zeke and Dawn got into a relationship during that summer, but it was clear that they ended up together as adults. Dawn became a history teacher in her hometown, where later Zeke visited while traveling around the island, and the two were reunited, showing affection for one another. And, of course, Dawn met Zeke's big family, who took an instant liking to her. <3

i would have ADORED to see them interact in canon. like i completely understand the concept of the ship-- dawn's whole aura reading thing synergizes amazingly with the tortured soul who can't speak. i just don't see it as romantic to really any extent.
