"What are you?!"
The thirst was building; tragically changing a woman thatwas once human into something she was determined not to be. What exactlyhappened to her? what had changed her. Elena had accepted her fate that she wasdying. Drowning, inhaling more water that was quickly filling her lungs. Atleast he was saved, at least Matt was alive was all she had thought about. Notabout the fact she had gone through so much trauma the last few days, that ablood clot had formed and she had vampire blood in her system. There wassomething else. A fate worse than death, she accepted that she was going to diein the same spot her parents had. That her car was submerged into the waterydepths and she was trapped..
There was no changing any of this now, she wantedto die. A fate to accept, a fate to be lost. Where she woke trembling, knowingthat something was different. The fact that she was in transition, or the factBonnie might not be able to help her. There was no John to give her life againthough she wouldn’t have asked for that, no spell from keeping from dying yetthey wouldn’t give up on trying. Elena was left in that in between stage of transitionwhere she needed to feed and yet she refused to taste that very drop of crimsonthat would give her a new life, an immortal one at least until the elementswould kill her. Thriving began, her head was throbbing in need of air, herfingers clawed at her scalp as they glided through her hair, she was pulling ondark strands unable to stand properly as she supped in what air she had left. What made her human. The thirst for blood was taking over, she needed it, andthat control she had for it was quickly diminishing.
Oh god did she crave it.
Dragging her damp tongue along hervery dry chapped lips, her eyes were stinging with every ray of sunlight so shesurrounded herself with darkness. But that never stopped her from stepping afoot outside. Something was wrong, and to the very least there was somethingwrong in this world that allowed such myth to happen. Dark orbs searched theareas, quickly staring at trees she past to the road ahead, where was shegoing? anywhere. Away from here.
No longer was she at home but she had managedto escape a predicament of someone trying to kill what she was in transition tobe. The very last memories she had was waiting in a cage for her own death. In transition but dying slowly, no blood to be found until given an opportunity that made her dreadthat she was taking a step to not be human, taking a step of a deeper controlwhere she would need to help those that helped her. Storming through she launchedat their attacker, fangs bearing as she hissed. Eyes dark as night threateningthe very life underneath her knocking him out instantly from her own launch. Realisationfinally sinking in as darkened orbs met that of a man she was in love with, theman that stood in-front of her ready to take action in saving them from whatshe would assume their death. A man that might not understand. ’What are you?!’what was she? “A vampire..” she answered.
