David Fear was born in 1937 Queens New York to a working class family, Mary Fear and James Fear. Despite James' growing distaste for religion Mary brought David up heavily on Catholicism for the first eleven years of their life, infusing David's mind with the belief of angels and of a heaven and a hell. However, regardless of Mary's strong Catholic teachings to her son, she was having an secret affair with her pastor brought on by the growing tensions in the household, and James having caught on, was planning on divorcing Mary and taking custody of David to stop the constant religion teachings from messing up his child further. But as David and their father were on a night out to the movies, they were attacked and James was brutally murdered, David woke up, finding themselves laying next to their father's bloody and beaten body with no memory of witnessing the violent crime. David however wasn't left alone for long, as a Sabbat pack came across the child and decided to take them in, to cope with the fantastical sights shown before their young eyes David's mind came to the conclusion that their monstrous kidnappers were actually a superhero team and the pack just went along with it, even to the point of dressing up as Superheroes. For the next nine years David's mind is filled with Sabbat propaganda though more through superhero style lenses, believing that the strange Kindred powers they were witnessing were super powers and their new family's need for blood was them recharging their powers. In truth their Sabbat family was training David in acrobatics and martial combat to prepare them for the embrace as a Kindred, the heads of the pack, a Lasombra and a Tzimisce fought over who would be David's sire. In the end their bickering had lead David to a violent embrace with how they tugged them around like a toy, bitting into them at the same time. For the first time in so long, David saw their 'family' for what they truly were, blood thirsty monsters and the revelation of that horror caused their blood to reject their sire's clan and became a Caitiff(Pander the word for Caitiff in the Sabbat). However the truth wasn't allowed to stay and David was quickly mind wiped of the knowledge and continued to believe that they had now become super powered. This continued on for many decades until David and their pack was attacked by apparently the Second Inquisition, David was the only survivor and was on the run until they ran into the Midnight Circus and was taken in by them as a aerialist...
