Me, thinking back on the scene from The Hours & Times, when Brian Epstein opens up to John Lennon about the time he was sent to Spain after being mugged and blackmailed, to which John (who'd been making jabs at Brian multiple times prior) simply sits and listens:
“I made allowances. I’m always making allowances for other people. Just once I should like to feel as if I wasn’t making allowances. I suspect Cynthia and I have far more in common than we realise.”
“Cynthia’s my wife. The mother of my child.”
