My Red Bull-induced headcanon: Bilbo has definitely sung, "Don't cha wish your girlfriend burglar was hot like me? Don't cha wish your burglar was a freak like me?" at least once.
Yes I'm listening to the song rn
The Bastard to Babygirl pipeline must be studied π§
RIP Thorin you would've loved watching those hunting for Bigfoot shows.
The Rings of Power Season 2 EP1: Thoughts/Observations/Commentary β¨
Ayyy I finally made it to Season 2!
EP 1: Elven Kings Under the Sky
- Flashback to the Dawn of the Second Age...ooh backstory!
- A blonde short-necked individual is conferencing with Adar and the Uruks.
- S-Sauron?? This must be a previous incarnation. You smol squat necked bean.
- Adar does NOT like what he's hearing.
- Adar's actor has been recast :(
- I'll miss Joseph Malwe approach to the role but Sam Hazeldine is crushing it so far.
- "Many orcs will die" The Orcs/Uruks:

Extremely early Rings of Power thoughts β¨
So far I've only watched S1EP1 and EP2 of the rings of power. This show is beautiful, the acting is ranges from decent to excellent. The pacing is great and the music is nice. Now some of these hair choices I might have to come back to..
When I saw one episode was an hr long, I got a little intimidated. For some reason my adhd doesn't do well with shows, especially anything running over 40 minutes. Surprisingly the pacing was so smooth I didn't notice the runtime of the first two episodes.
I'll resume watching later tonight. I haven't seen enough yet to form any thorough opinions about the plot or characters(Except Disa she's amazing! I love her already π₯Ίπ).
I know that Sky just went through and relived the worst trauma of his life, but can we also see Prapai and his suffering. This poor guy, who thought that he knew all that there was to know about the love of his life, realised that he didn't know anything at all. He didn't know what he expect to come across when he entered that condo, but finding his boyfried about to be SA'd certainly was the last on his list of guesses.
And he instantly hates himself, and I mean the pure hatred for himself is just a raging ball of fire inside because it was his fault. He gave them the literal key needed to get to him. He was the reason that they were able to touch him, and it's killing him that he isn't upset. He isn't angry at him, he isn't crying or lashing out. It breaks his heart so much so that he sheds tears for Sky.
And then it get worse because now he knows what happened, he knows about his past. He understands everything that he didn't before. He put the missing pieces in places he thought would never be filled. And it breaks his heart for a million new reasons.
All the pain Sky has endured on his own, all the suffering, all the emotional distance he put between the both of them. Hurting the people around him before he would get hurt... He did all this thinking that he didn't deserve anything good in his life, so it pains Prapai so much to finally understand the reasons for all of it, and adds more guilt because he couldn't have helped him understand sooner that he isn't what his trauma claims he is or needs to be. He wishes that he could rewind time and love him harder, love him more so that Sky would never have to know this hurt.
My god guys... I don't know what the fuck I just wrote up there, but this was a truly incredible series and I just- I love Mame.
Okay, so I really need to talk about this before I lose my fucking mind (it's already gone who am I kidding).
In the first episode, maybe even the second episode, Payu is being a huge cocky asshole (affectionately so leave me alone he was being an asshole okay), teasing Rain constantly, making Rain question his sexuality, and enjoying the fuck out of it. He even tries this whole soft BDSM shit with him, to 'tame' him (that was just purely gross and not sexy at all tbh).
But then, THEN, he just... stops. He stops trying to force this taming shit on him (the hole be a good boy, good boys don't swear, swear again and there with be consequences) and he just tells him that he doesn't like for him to be swearing. It wasn't demanding, it wasn't an order, he didn't yell it at him, he just... told him that he didn't like it.
And then my god, this whipped bitch who said that Rain would have to try much harder to seduce him, is letting Rain initiate kisses, letting him speak at him more freely, letting him take control during sex. He is letting Rain be so affectionate, all the while being just as affectionate without making it a reward, he just is.
And my god if that isn't the biggest loss in this game of "who is going to fall in love with who first" for Payu, I do NOT KNOW ANYMORE
