Our August break turned into a September break and now it’s October! It took us a bit longer to get into the swing of things both because of opening of Birds & Bubbles as well as hastily deciding to move out of our little CITY GRIT home.  While we have a couple of things cooking, for now we are partnering with CITY GRIT alumna and one of our favorite chefs of all time, Dave Santos and his West Village Louro. 2015 will bring some big thing for us, like potentially taking this show on the road and starting off this fall with some baller chefs from across the globe and first up is Nancy Singleton Hachisu from Japan!

  We are proud to have Nancy Singleton Hachisu coming to heat up the kitchen all the way from her farmhouse in Japan.  We’ve had a crush on this expert since before she wrote her first book. Nancy is basically the Alice Waters of Japan! She has packed up a pantry from her home to ours with the best miso, salt, soy sauce and fish sauce that you can’t get in New York.  And you thought you could get everything here!!
