MAINVERSE;; SEPTEMBER 2015
DAVID
*Slips in, and gently removes the glass from her hand, taking a sip himself*
Her eyes remain closed, yet the corners of her lips tuck upwards in the hint of a smile - .....no sermon on how I am not supposed to drink
Not yet. I thought it might be easier just to finish your drink for you.
It's just a single glass. And I drink it because I want it, not because I feel like I need it. - ..... which might or might not be a lie.
Hmm. And morphine's just a painkiller
It is, in fact. But I didn't take any, if that is your concern. - It is with that that she opens her eyes and sits up, her gaze meeting his.- I'm off that shit.
*He smiles a little as he drains her glass* Good
That wine was mine, though
I'll buy you a new bottle. Or several. Better vintages
...we an expert now? Hand me the towel, will you
It's an Etonian thing. *Grabs a towel, leaning in to kiss her on the forehead as he hands it to her.*
Oh, right....posh and proper education. - And out of the tub she steps; and way too close - ....... I forgot
*His hand slips forward to rest on her hip, to "steady her". Of course, that doesn't explain away why his thumb brushes across her skin.*
Oh, she does notice. Very much so. - ...fetch me my robe?
*Letting his fingers graze across her hip, he turns to fetch her bathrobe.
- it is the moment that he turns around that she lets the towel fall to the floor, and the smile on her lips widens even more - ...David?
*And he turns.* Oh, well then. You won't be needing this.
I was gonna say....
*Drops it to the floor, moving closer again, his hand brushing up her thigh
Am I still beautiful, David?
Still incredibly so
Tell me, David....what makes me beautiful?
*Runs his hand along the curve of her thigh* This does. *His other hand comes up to caress her cheek* As does this. *Leans in to kiss her*
Oh, so tempting; And so hard to fight it. Not that she even wants to. A soft sigh escaped her as his lips lock with hers, one of her hands lightly coming to rest on his chest
*He doesn't rush it - the kiss is long, lingering. It's a kiss meant to be savoured, and enjoyed.
- And as she deepens the kiss ever so slowly, ever so carefully, she can feel the butterflies returning, can feel her knees getting weak; her other hand coming to rest on his shoulder to keep herself steady. -
