Yeah, there are tons of synonyms to describe Sasuke's hair. Or you could simply call his hair as it should like you know...black hair??? I understand people wanting to put some fancy words to describe more poetically someone's physical attributes but really...raven??

Same here, same...there are some fanfics that were actually well written but the moment I read "the raven"...oh God. I'd twitch my eye.
