So I kind of did like you advised, but instead of asking for clarification from him I took it upon myself to clarify myself and what I had said.

Because I got kinda freaked out that maybe he had taken what I had said (because texting sucks and ugh #BringBackLetters) wrong and like been offended or hurt, y'know? Like maybe it had come across like "OH, JOY, SUCH A CONVENIENT EXCUSE FOR ME TO TURN YOU DOWN cuz I don't really want to go with you lol". So I texted him and was like "so what I meant to say was that I'd love to go with you, but I'd hate for you to have been strong-armed into something you didn't plan on. No harm, no foul. :)"

So he texted back and, wouldn't you know it, he was like "I only have one bar of service up here so I've been leaving my phone on airplane mode". PFFFT. Isn't that always the way?! You start to panic you did something wrong but then it just turns out that it had nothing to do with you. ;P

But yeah so he was like "Don't even worry, you're fine". And that's it. :| SO I'm just taking that to mean we're still going and he does want to go with me...???

SARAH this is why we're going to be best friends into the afterlife, I am telling you. There are gonna be ghosthunters of the future that are like "omg there is so much spiritual activity in here oh gosh oh gosh" and then they'll turn up their little doohickey to our ghostly frequency and we'll just be making each other laugh sO HARD and they'll be like "..."

A valid point/proposal, but somehow I doubt it. >> Mostly based on the fact that after I texted him back saying something like "Ha! I kinda figured when you mentioned my birthday and I've never told you it. ;P Well, I'm fine if you had other plans for the passes when you bought them." after nearly a full day now he still has not responded.

Oh, definitely! If he still wanted to (begrudgingly) take me, then I'd totally go. :) But at this point I have no idea what he wants to do/is thinking.
