For many, switching their dating game from newspaper ads to the internet may seem like a good idea that will yield them favorable results. They’re right! Using Online Dating Websites: So, you seen her profile picture, and all the other fifty that she’s posted in the online dating website. If every one of them is better than the next and makes her look like that perfect supermodel, or that cute girl next door, chances are, it’s too good to be true. And while your ego and that voice inside your head, will want you to think otherwise, the fact of the matter is that uber-attractive women do not spend their evenings trying to contact strange men online. Sorry, guys but that’s just the way it is!

Unusual patterns of communication often leads to a person hiding something, maybe she has a husband or maybe kids she doesn’t want you to know about, or maybe it’s a guy with an internet connection and too much free time.

You need to watch this video! Zeno, the creator of this video breaks down exactly how some profiles out there are fake. He finds the same beautiful girl on different dating websites, with different information. The same picture is used for all these profiles, but their age, name, weight, height and everything else is completely different from each dating website to the next. People are taking a famous person’s photograph from the UK (who is not very well known in North America) and they are using her picture as their profile pictures. This woman probably doesn’t even know that this picture is being used. You need to watch this video as he will break down how to figure out if the profiles you are viewing are fake or not.

More or less, the reason the guy messaged me is because he was looking for any women that might be pedophiles on the site. This guy needs a different hobby - seriously.  He's just another one of those fake profiles hiding behind a screenname with nothing better to do with his time.  

Datehookup is by far one of the worst sites to find someone, and is in many ways worse than okcupid.

For those who may not know me very well, I am a sensual person.  I believe that a woman's skin can be appreciated (i.e. back rubs, caressing) without sex, along with a woman's intellect. Few men appreciate that because so many unfortunately do only want just sex.  I know I have a tough road ahead as far as finding a good guy is concerned, but I'm not giving up. This guy I met on datehookup.com liked everything about me and thought I was a great person. Then tonight when we started to text each other for the first time he accused me of teasing him with my body. Mmmky, dude, last night you were fine with the massages and caressing. You even agreed with me that you would love to caress me and make me feel special and that this is something that we could do without sex.  He wanted to do all of these sweet things for me and that flattered me quite a bit. What angers me is that he thinks that caressing and massaging a woman's skin is considered PHONE SEX because we were texting.  A complete 360 from last night when he told me how special I was and that he wanted to do all of these sweet things for me.  I repeatedly said I don't have sex until after marriage but as soon as I start talking about what we had been talking about yesterday, which was not sexual by any stretch of the imagination, he accuses me of being a tease. There's something very wrong with this individual because last night we were having this same conversation about dating and sensuality and we were having a very intellectual conversation about it.  One I enjoyed. And now he's upset with me all of a sudden?

I of course also love going for walks, going to the movies, and going to dinner too...and I made it clear as well that I wanted some normal dates too. One of the last things he did tonight was call me mental and told me I'd always be alone.  Wow.  Just wow.

I expressed that I didn't want sex until marriage.  I'm one of those old-schoolers that believes in waiting until I find the one.  He and I agreed yesterday that he wanted to give me massages and do all of these wonderful things for me if we were in a relationship.  The conversation we had yesterday was one of the best I'd had with a guy online in forever. And now here he is accusing me of phone sex when I never even brought up sex and that I was teasing him. Something was telling me while I was chatting with the guy that he wasn't really all there because at least once or twice he got a little ticked off for no reason. I was up-front with the guy from the very beginning.  I don't know what his problem is but at the end of the day, he's the one that's going to be forever alone with his two-faced personality. I make it clear in my dating profiles what i want and what I am personally looking for.  I am up front with each guy I talk to online about what I am comfortable or uncomfortable with in a relationship.  Don't message me and waste my time with your sweet crap one day and change personalities with me the next.   The only person I can see who has a mental problem is this guy...not me. In a way I'm glad he texted goodbye to me. I know for a fact I would not feel safe with him if I were ever alone with the guy.

My first entry is something I've experienced on datehookup.com, one of the many popular free dating sites on the internet, and it's something I get often from men I barely even know.

Guys on this particular site have this I wanna meet now kind of thing going on. I'm mostly looking for a person I can bring home to my parents who will appreciate me for who I am.  But most guys - they're not down with that. They think that someone like me who is being cautious has something to hide and in the case of a few encounters I've had with men on the site, that thing they supposedly think I'm hiding is that I'm a man. There is even one guy on the site who has been messaging other men I've been talking to and telling them I'm a man and they're actually believing him over me.

I like to get to know someone for awhile before I meet in person - I don't just run out with the first guy I've met online whom I've barely known a few days.  But on datehookup.com, that's not something that is acceptable.

What really irritates me is why any guy would want to accuse someone like me of being a man.  I told one guy who was talking to me today that I'm a cautious person - he told me I had something to hide and automatically accused me of being a man.  I basically told him on Yahoo, which was where we moved our conversations to after we chatted on DH, that if he wants to believe that, it's entirely up to him, but that it wasn't true.  Silence, then he logged out.

I've also had many instances on datehookup.com where people have sent me photos of their penises.  Those people were blocked right away and reported.

I've not had any luck finding any guy on that site anyway - most want sex right away for the most part.  No one wants to get to know me for a few weeks and they want cell phone numbers and addresses from you when you barely even know them.  One rule of thumb with dating is to talk online first and don't EVER give out personal information including a cell number until after you've really gotten to know them.  Don't go out with them until you've found out everything about that person either.  I'm a person who likes to take it slow to see how it goes and then take it from there.  Most guys want instant gratification and don't want to go that route, and if you're not willing to meet them 5 minutes after chatting with them, they accuse me of having a fake profile or of being a man pretending to be a woman which is entirely untrue.

I'm a young female (late 20s/early 30s) who's basically been unlucky in love. Like so many others, I took to POF, Okcupid, datehookup.com, Zoosk, Christian Mingle, and Match.com to try to find love only to be disappointed and insulted by the majority of the men I've talked to.

The main objective of this blog is to share these experiences including some of the mistakes I've made so that others who are on these sites won't make the same mistakes I've made.  This blog will serve as a teaching tool.
