i don't think roque would actually physically top cassius that often not because either of them wouldnt enjoy it but because roque prefers slowly taking him apart much more torturously with hands/fingers or toys and could enjoy doing that for hours without any attention being put on him. he's also a much meaner dom than darrow is because darrow feels way too bad and is too autistic for any harsh sadism and cant do it without asking Are you mad at me every 5 seconds but roque doesn't shy away from it. essentially cassius should be getting good-cop-bad-copped by daddy and mommy thats what im saying

in canon compliancy a/b/o i think darrow was born a beta but because of how gold is he was turned into an alpha during the carving because gold alphas have a better chance of gaining the following he needed. so now imagine you're in the institute and it's literally your first time ever being an alpha AND bisexual and two beautiful omegas are in your vicinity at all times. that's why this series couldn't realistically be omegaverse because darrow isn't leaving that place without being drained of at least 85% of his fluids
