Other people: going feral over the cute Anne/Gilbert moments in the school dance scene in Anne with an E
Me: going feral over that same scene, but because they were learning the dashing white sergeant, the exact dance I had to learn at school as a child, and just assumed after I left that most people outside Scotland wouldn't even know it existed. And seeing them struggle at first unlocked very specific memories of exactly what it was like at primary school (and the few ceilidhs I've managed to go to since). I know it's a Canadian show but that particular cultural crossover made this homesick Scottish islander very happy so thank you from your neighbours across the Atlantic.
