“Love trumps hate” doesn’t stop being true after this election. We are stronger than whatever the next 4 years can throw at us. There is more to the U.S. government than this election; there is more to this country than its president. There is still Congress, so vote for them. There are still laws to be ratified, so go out and support them.

There is the people – there is you. Yes, there are hateful, selfish bigots – but there is also you, and you don’t have to subscribe to a hateful, selfish way of life to survive. Because you are made of stronger stuff than that.

You are not going to die. You are not going to die. You are not going to die. But if they hurt you, hurt them back. Or not. It’s okay if you don’t.

It’s okay to feel the way you feel.
