Dash|Ten Vets of Life and Warped

Phew, we made it! We’ve done 9 dates of Warped Tour now. In some ways, it feels like we just started. In others, we have already experienced enough for a lifetime.

Our “dashing” audiences (see what I did there?) have been growing by the day, and it means so much to us. I know a lot of bands say that, but we are really just so grateful that people are giving us a shot. We’re trying to remember every smiling face on the barricade, because when we’re selling out shows in that town we want to remember you. We want to remember how you started with us, believed in us, and stuck with us through it all.

Each day is a bruiser, no lie. Yes, we’re a band on Warped Tour, but we’re also running ALL the Army stuff. That big tent with all the free merch in it? We set it up at 8am, make sure it’s stocked and working, set up the rad (yet temperamental) photo booth, making trips back and forth from the trailer with all our band gear, play the show, sign everything we can, tear down the tent again at 6pm. We’re working hard, but it feels awesome to know we’re doing something REALLY cool.

There are some challenges, too. Our dog tag machines got lost in the mail and we’re still working to get them out so you can get those. We are still waiting on a bus, so for now we are driving our truck between stops. St. Pete, you know we love you because we drove 7 hours overnight to make it to you from Atlanta.

We’ve met new friends, reconnected with old ones, fans and bands alike. We’re working our tails off to earn our keep, earn your respect, and share the one thing we all put ahead of everything else: music. Every day onstage I talk about how we ALL have put music above comfort, and that is what pulls us all together.

Thank you for making this dream a reality. Without you, we’d be looking for work. And we love you for it!
