So there’s a little bit of coverage on this but I have yet to see it on here so I’mma just go ahead and point this out… Spoilers btw, big, big Spoilers. Dash Granny, a character that appeared in Chapter 53 of the Manga and Season 2 Episode 2 of the Anime, was played off as a bit of a joke character, especially in the Manga. Just some random old lady that jogs at night along a certain road and gained attention from people because she just seemed out of the ordinary, we saw it with the Man faced Dog as well. In the Anime, it is intentional that the Man-Faced Dog was shown earlier, it is played off so well that so many will miss this…

This isn’t shown in the Manga (I checked) only the anime, so it’s well hidden but this screenshot (Below) is from the Urban Legends website that Reigen searches up while in the Internet Cafe. While he reads the information we can see the info under each Urban Legend listed, Under Dash Granny’s the bottom text reads “Apparently, if she (Dash Granny) outruns you, you’ll get into a Car accident.” This will pass over Anime-onlys heads but if you’ve read the Manga… 0_0

She runs past both Reigen and Mob in Chapter 53 (I’m assuming this doesn’t affect Dimple because he’s dead) and low and behold, both get into Car related accidents later on. 

In Chapter 98, during the UFO arc, Reigen crashes the rental car…

And in Chapter 99, Mob is hit by a Car while saving a kid who DIDN’T LOOK BOTH WAYS AND HAD EARPHONES IN, which leads to ???% going on a rampage.

Either Dash Granny is a very powerful spirit that not even Mob could exorcise, a lady with a powerful curse on her or this is just some amazing coincidence. Either way, I love that they added that little detail into the Anime.
