Today, Topps TWD Cards released a Special Edition Card series to celebrate Halloween. It included a Beth card. While it isn't an unseen image, it is always heartening for me to see Beth still promoted in official products. This collection included the following characters: Rick, Daryl, Beth, Maggie, Carol, Tara, and Morgan as well as a walker (Beth being the only departed character in this set). People in the larger fandom still love Beth. Just because, I edited the Daryl and Beth cards together-they did not come this way. (I put my signature on these not because they are mine or because I am claiming them, but because new content is hard to find and sometimes people like to share on other platforms without giving credit to the people who spent time discovering it).
I finally found the perfect frame for this lovely Daryl and Beth family portrait gifted to me by my dear friend @doeroseq when we met at the Walking Dead 100th episode premiere event in LA in October. I am so happy to have it framed and on display! (The title of this piece is “She Has Your Eyes”). Thank you again Doe!
Knowing just how much I love the idea of Bethyl babies as well as any beautiful scenario which includes Daryl and Beth on the beach together, my dear friend @doeroseq commissioned this lovely piece of art for me from the very talented @itsmmmills. It was such a wonderful surprise gift! I absolutely adore it! Thank you so much.

(Daryl and Beth: Who I Was)
Bethyl Appreciation Week 2017: Favorite Scene
It is extremely difficult for me to pick my favorite scene between Beth and Daryl because they are all so dear to me...beautiful and meaningful in their own special way, but I can say that the one scene that is the most impactful for me because of everything it embodies is the porch scene from “Still”.
That porch scene was like your favorite song…you never knew it could get better than it was, then you hear it stripped down, live acoustic, not recorded in the studio, not tweaked or enhanced, just that song and those lyrics…raw. Not all songs can be acoustic and not all artists have the talent to go there, but when they do, it is perfect, emotional, and unforgettable. Beth and Daryl played by Emily and Norman were that “acoustic” performance on The Walking Dead. Raw, real, beautiful, emotional, and totally unforgettable. They didn’t need walkers, violence, action scenes, blood and gore, intricate sets or props. All they needed was Daryl and Beth, talking, opening up, being flawed and so very human, and finding that connection that gave us the beauty, hope, and faith that everyone needs. Daryl and Beth are The Walking Dead’s Something More; they are the Something Human. Daryl and Beth are a haunting melody that still lingers...a story that transcends the show. Â

Daryl and Beth: “Caught By the Light”
I was feeling a bit nostalgic today, seeing The Walking Dead Season 4 playing on AMC, especially “Still” and “Alone”. I miss Daryl and Beth together...their humanity, faith, hope, and love.
Anyway, I never shared this edit on Tumblr...just my deviantart account (I have seen it on Tumblr before, another user posting it and crediting me)...so I thought what better time than now when I am feeling all nostalgic.Â
I created this edit the night that the Season 5 character portraits were released. It was one of my first edits, and it remains one of which I am the most proud.Â
