Someone said Kylo is suppose to be 32. He is a really big baby.

Kylo defiantly is different then Anakin. Snoke could be manipulating him, or he's 100% onboard and there's no changing who he is. I mean, there's always reading the book, but they changed things from what I've heard. Does this child even know that his grandfather went back to the light side to protect his family? Did they ever tell him anything? Or did he learn it from a textbook or something, and it was all completely biased and he was like. "This is who I'm taking after."
One thing I noticed when watching the movie was that the spread of information about what happened when the Rebel Alliance won and the Empire lost was that, well, it was like, unless you were there, the details were never really shared to the galaxy at large. It was like, people knew the Empire tanked but then smoothed over that part so a new one could rise from the ashes without that taint of failure.
I realize we are talking about a galaxy, that tends to be rather large. But, hell, we had a main protagonist making a living cannibalizing parts from the Empire’s crashed fleet. They have heard stories, but it is like they never got the real or even full picture.
What fraking happened there? Why didn’t people get on the loud speaker and drop pamphlets or something? Like, jesus christ.
Kylo, obviously, should/would have known what happened. He would have grown up knowing. ….at least you should think so anyway. So much of his actions seem so childish still. It is hard to know what to think. He is still a baby, really. A murderous baby. But a baby.

But Anakin did. He protected Luke in the end, died because of it. Luke made him change his mind, and he died to protect him, and even Leia as well. Anakin was light, turned dark, then went back. He even stated before dying that he was wrong with going to the Dark Side when Luke tried saving him. I have no idea why that wasn't really brought into light to Kylo, but maybe he's truly bad. But did Kylo have a Sith whispering into his ear such as Anakin did? We don't know his past with his training.
True. I suppose I should have said that the Skywalkers seem to be an exception to the rules most days of the week. I guess we are going to have to wait and see because - ugh. This is just the first movie. I know Giant Wrinkle Man said he wanted to ‘complete’ Kylo’s training. SO- that sound ominous.
Hopefully the ghost of Anakin makes a visit and doles out time-outs where appropriate.
I've always enjoyed Star Wars as well. The tfa comes along and wow. I'm really proud of Abrams and how well he continued the story. Oh my goooooooooood finnpoe is the best. It's even better because Oscar and John said they played them romantically. I hope Abrams does make that canon. And Rey is precious too. I can't stand Kylo for many reasons. His temper tantrums, and Han. POE'S X-WING THOUGH. I've always loved X-Wings too death, then Poe comes along with that sexy black one.
I am extremely here for Finn/Poe.

I wanted to hate Kylo, I really did - do - but it is his face that makes that impossible, and I don’t mean in the: “oh no, he’s hot way” - I mean the fact that his face is like a child. He is frightened. Conflicted. The fact that he can feel the pull to the light is proof he is not inherently bad. He was seduced and tricked. He wants to be a full Sith lord. Desperately. Because then his life is simple. But he keeps feeling the pull to the light. That is his struggle. He is still struggling. Which indicates he might be able to be saved. The Jedi always talk about feeling a pull to the dark side. But you never hear a Sith say they feel a pull to the Light. I think that is because they don’t. But Kylo? He does.
The special effects were baller. Just hearing all those familiar sounds again was a rush!
Now you can join the rest of us who have become Star Wars trash amongst the Star Wars hype. It's been hard not to make both my blogs completely Star Wars.
I have always loved Star Wars, but I have to say this new movie definitely reminded me why. All the nods to the old series were fantastic and I got super nostalgic about it. I adored the new characters. Even Kylo - re: BEEEEEEN. re. re: needs a time out yesterday. And could write seven novels about how clearly the most romantic scene in the movie was Poe and Finn running at each other to embrace as the music swelled.
