Dartingstar of Mossclan (she/they)

She's the oldest of the leaders (50m) (only by a few moons) but she loves to say it's made her infinitely wiser. Dartingstar has lost her lives relatively quickly (with just five lives remaining after a year in power), especially for a leader of Mossclan. They have lost no lives to conflict, and have forced Mossclan to stay quiet about her losses, concealing their weakness the best she can, knowing that Cloudstar would lead Juniperclan into conflict if he knew how reckless Dartingstar was with her lives.

Dartingstar is a sociable, charismatic character with lots of associates. they are known for charming their way out of unruly situations, and like to have a cat wrapped around their fingers at any given time. true to their prefix, she is rather flighty, and tend to partner-hop extremely frequently. despite their troubles to commit to others, they are a surprisingly loyal mossclan warrior, and will fiercely defend their clan and clanmates-- given that they like them. dartingstar is shallow, opinionated and direct. she's nearly impossible to get a good read on.

They're a surprisingly decent mentor, and are known for their unpredictable techniques. dartingstar forces their apprentices to track them down if they want training, and push a sense of determination onto their allies through their own elusivity. given the other cat manages to carry on, they're practically guaranteed a grade-a training, if they continue to persevere. dartingstar, if you manage to impress her, is a ride-or-die. they find it easy to cut intrapersonal ties. she would be manipulative, if she bothered to invest in the future of others aside from romantic endeavors.

in addition, they're known for collecting things!! almost always lurking by the twoleg camps or streams, dartingstar is always on the look out for shiny things. they've gotten into more than one petty squabble with a clanmate over a particularly enticing item, a trait that has carried over into her leadership. Dartingstar has consistently started petty conflicts with the other clans, and then left her deputy, Lilydust, to deal with the consequences.

more than a few trinkets lining the path into camp have been discovered in around Mossclan's main camp over the years. The leader's den is completely decorated with different shells, scales, stones, and bones. They're a social butterfly, and have surely helped unite the once segregated Mossclan.
