Haha I know the feeling! So the original fic is down with @darthnickels’ tumblr (gone), but fortunately there’s a nice podfic here. The “panorama of paranoia” appears around -02:19. Fantastic little fic that does a lot of clever things simultaneously, I can’t recommend it enough

Just read this on AO3 - beautifully written scenes that must have happened but that we didn’t see, in seasons 1, 2, and 5. One of the s2 ones deals with Thomas’ war trauma, and contains an amazing conversation between Matthew and Thomas. Many feels in all 4 chapters.
I can’t stop wishing that Fellowes had outsourced the writing of Thomas’ storylines to members of this fandom...
