Agreed. Only problem with comparing this show to the book is that the director even said the show is going to be different, don’t like it read the books don’t watch the show
Glad we agree on the Shae part, but I'm going to disagree with you on the rest. GOT is based on books, you can't distance the show and the book, or else you remove the "based on the A Song of Ice and Fire novels by G.R.R Martin". Fans of the books expect some things and sadly those expecations are rarely rewarded. So understand that a lot of book readers are disappointed, you enjoy it as it is it's your right, but it's also my right to point out problems and things i dislike about a story i and many others care about and enjoyed reading about, understand that we're sad or angry when certain things don't appear or are changed, or when characters are killed off when they still play a role in the books . Also I watch anything I want, and if I want to bitch about it I will :)
