My new agent, Leon Jax and @darthvronton‘s Vowrik Ylmaz (Assassin)
Despite the shit year we’ve all just had, I think I can safely say that Rogue One has made up for the whole mess! Agreed @darthvronton?
So I’ve been rewatching Miss Fisher and my hand slipped...

What if... Yala lost the battle of Odessen and one of her OT3 died?
I suppose it would depend on which one she lost. Altan has been on the brink of death before and that put her in a real dark place. I suspect it would be the same if it were Kaar, despite having lived without him for years.
When it comes to her family, Jala is more than capable of becoming the terrifying sith everyone thinks she is. There are no lengths she wouldn’t go to in order to visit revenge on those that have hurt or killed the people she loves and protects. (i.e. the Natu situation.) In that light, I think she would have no issue burning Zakuul to the ground, innocent people or not.
It would also have some very negative consequences for her. Tashtan, and to a lesser extent, Neya, would grow afraid of her.
What if Jala was born a pureblood instead of a twi'lek.
I imagine she’d have had a vastly different life, having been born in Imperial territory. Probably a colony world to some nobody clan. It wouldn’t have been an extravagant life, but being a Force user in the Empire generally makes things a little easier.
She probably wouldn’t have grown up to be as kind and understanding as she is, so she really would be more like Darth Nox: powerhungry, ambitious, and ruthless. She may or may not have married Altan, but it would’ve been a very different kind of marriage regardless. I don’t know that it would have lasted very long either, that would depend on how beneficial her clan was to Ylmaz.
TMI-Tuesday: Does Jala attend/host gatherings of Sith(you know, parties, theatre, opera, that sorta thing)? If so, how does that work out?
She does frequently, and has since she was elevated to Thanaton’s apprentice, often going to venues when he was unable to. In general, Jala enjoys parties as a participant, though she does feel a great twinge of pity for the entertainers, because she’d been in their shoes before.
On the whole, she enjoys Sith gatherings when everything goes well and nobody’s temper sours the mood (and it does happen, these are Sith after all).
If it’s the only thing she misses about the Empire after Zakuul’s invasion, it’s the pageantry. Not much time for outings and parties and theater when you’re actively working to end the occupation of the galaxy.
