Isaac Azathoth, one of the villains in Macho Women with Guns by Greg Porter, with Darrell Midgette illustration (1989).  Azathoth was HP Lovecraft’s “blind idiot god” who bubbles and blasphemes in the center of the galaxy, so perhaps the joke here is just a punny mashup with Asimov’s name.  But listed alongside “drunken frat boys”, “chauvinist swine”, “TV evangelists”, and “congressional subcommittee”, in this game that humorously promised to right a gender imbalance in RPGs, this feels like it could be a subtle reference to the open secret of Asimov’s behavior toward women at conventions.
