The gospel isn't a magic wand. Even after coming to faith in Christ, one shouldn't expect to be immediately sanctified. Being conformed to the image of Christ (Rom. 8:29) is a continuum that will end only when we die, and are glorified, or when Christ returns and the same occurs.

Christians must not confuse ‘climate change’ with stewardship of the earth. They are not the same thing—not even close. The latter is biblical (Gen. 2:15), whereas the former is pagan (Rom.1:25). The entire climate change movement is grounded in the worship of Gaia (“mother earth”) or what is more technically known as “Gaia Theory” or the “Gaia Hypothesis,” which was first introduced by scientist James Ephraim Lovelock (1919-2022). It is worship of the creation rather than the Creator, which is nothing other than environmental idolatry.

The battlefield of Satan is the mind. Prepare yourself (Ephesians 6:11-13).

“For He Himself is our peace” (Ephesians 2:14a). Those words unambiguously declare that apart from Jesus Christ, you cannot have true peace (John 14:27). Such peace is found only by trusting in Him for the forgiveness of your sins. All other “peace” is superficial and cosmetic.

When we reject the truth about God for a lie (Romans 1:25a), we likewise reject the truth about who we are (Genesis 1:27; 5:2). The “trans” movement is a prime example of this, in which the bodies of young image-bearers of God are being mutilated, solely for the sake of a lie.

Dear Christian brothers and sisters—strive today for purity of mind. Guard diligently what you allow your eyes to see and your ears to hear. As a former pastor of mine once said, “The battlefield of Satan is the mind.” It’s true. Renew your mind by God’s Word (Romans 12:1-2).
