LOL absolutely valid question. The reality is probably the majority are inactive. Back in my early Tumblr days i could easily scroll and catch up to where I left off the day before. I could still do that if I wanted (because like I said so many inactive blogs) but it takes longer and I'd have to TRY lol. I'm ok with missing stuff but it's nice to have more content to sift through. I literally follow ppl on the BAREST of whims. If I reblog a piece of art from someone on my dash, chances are very high Ive just followed the op of the art too lol unless I already followed them. I don't manage it AT ALL lol so that answers that. I absolutely have no idea who I'm following lmfao. I just throw everyone in my shopping cart. I'm a blog hoarder. But yeah I do miss stuff probably but it's fine. The really cool thing about Tumblr is posts never die here the way they do on other sites so there's a good chance if I miss it this week it will resurface next week and I'll see it then. I also have an EXTREMELY long filter list haha bc when you follow that many ppl u see a lot of stuff u don't care about at all, shows you've never watched and games you've never played etc. I just filter those out and it trims down the dash by a ton. I've been here a very long time so I've perfect my weird process. For real probably not a day goes by (assuming it's a day I go visit tumblr) that I don't follow someone new. I think it's fun. If I never followed anyone new my dash would be a total ghost town. That's just what happens when you're here for a while decade I guess :)
