“Okay, stay right there,” Kendall instructed, bringing the camera back up to her eye. This photoshoot for Time was exactly the ticket to her doing more work she wanted to do. The stories she wanted to cover. And imagine her surprise when she’d picked up a job to photograph Asher Van Den Burgh himself, after only meeting the man a few weeks prior at the gala. She hadn’t reached out to him, even though she’d blatantly flirted. But life had gotten in the way. She’d been taking on more and more jobs here and there in addition to her actual job at The New York Times. “Perfect,” she told him, finishing up the last of a long string of photos. “So, I think if you want to lose the jacket, uncuff the sleeves of your shirt and roll them up a bit, we’ll do just a few more shots of you looking a little more casual for the lifestyle section of the interview.”
